4-H contest winners named

The 2007 4-H Demonstration, Public Speaking and Rabbit Illustrated Talk contests were held June 20. All blue ribbon winners in the junior and senior divisions of the demonstration and public speaking contests and all Rabbit Illustrated Talk Contest participants advanced to the state 4-H contest to be held during the state fair. Blue Ribbon Winners are listed below.
Demonstration Contest Clovers
David Haley was selected as Clover Champion for his demonstration "What Can A KFOL Do?"
Vivian Haley was selected Clover Reserve Champion for her demonstration "Sick Sandwiches."
Elizabeth Nichols received a blue ribbon for her demonstration "Jargon of Origami."
Juniors
Mary Nichols received a blue ribbon for her demonstration "Milking A Goat."
Senior
"How to Tie a Tie" was demonstrated by Travis Martin, who was selected Senior Champion.
"Cuckoo for CoCoRahs" was presented by Susan Haley, who was selected Reserve Champion.
Adam Bonner received a blue ribbon for his illustrated talk "Surviving Graduation Time."
Public Speaking Contest Juniors
Everyone presented their speech on the required title "The New Face of 4-H." Katie Hickner was selected Champion. Aaron Goodman was selected as Reserve Champion. Austin Goodman received a blue ribbon.
Rabbit Illustrated Talk Contest Junior
Hannah Darling received a champion ribbon for her illustrated talk "Let Me Tell You About Rabbit Showmanship."
Senior
Tara Skeleton was selected Senior Champion for her talk "Rabbit Care During Seasonal Extreme Care."
