Camden American Legion Auxiliary will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in the Legion Home with Helen Simmerman and Dorothy Stark as hostesses.

Volunteer firemen will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in the Fireman's Lounge.

Blood pressure checks will be given Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Fireman's Lounge.

A foot care clinic will be held at 3 p.m. July 5 in the Senior Citizens Lounge.

Camden Town Council will hold a special meeting at 7 p.m. July 5 to discuss the 2008 town budget.

Dorcas Missionary Society of the Baptist Church will meet at 6 p.m. in the church with Melody Hodges as hostess. Eva Lou Shanks will give devotions. Bible book of the month is Psalms.

The final meeting of the town's 175th anniversary celebration committee will be Monday at 7 p.m. at the United Methodist Church. The public is encouraged to attend to help with the final preparations. Donations to help defray expenses for the event may be left at the town office.

Storytime is being held each Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in the library. Today, June 27, Judy Berkshire will present a program on pioneer medicines (herbs). Next week's program entitled "Gold Rush," will be held on July 5 due to the July 4 holiday. Patrons are reminded to pick up a copy of "The Glass Castle," the Carroll County on the Same Page book read.
