Receives poetry awards

Esther M. (Cowgill) Cook of Flora recently received awards for two of her original poems.

The two poems, "A Clean House" and "A Poet I Am," are to be published in a coffee table book in the United States.

A third poem, written about her grandfathers, will be published in an International Book of Poetry.

She is also recognized in an International Book of American Women.
