Attend science workshops
Five Carroll County 4-H members recently attended three days of science workshops at Purdue University. Workshops included beef, sheep, veterinary, food and plant sciences. Members worked under the direction of university faculty to gain technical knowledge in their fields and develop life skills such as responsibility, decision making, leadership and communications. Additionally, they received ideas to teach area youth. The trip was sponsored by local businesses and individuals. Pictured are, left to right: Front - Lucia Zook and Kara Overholser.
