Head Start continues enrollment

Area IV Head Start, serving Carroll, Clinton and White counties, still has openings for the new school year.

The program is accepting children ages three to five to participate in the 2007-2008 school year beginning this fall. Children must be at least three years of age by August 1, 2007 to be eligible.

Head Start is a federally funded pre-school program, primarily serving low-income

families. Services include health, education, social services and parent involvement.

Enrollment runs through the summer. Applications are available at Carroll Elementary. For more information call (765) 659-1100.
