Helen L. Rhine

Helen L. Rhine, 73, of Delphi, passed away June 5, 2007, at 3:43 a.m. at Lafayette Home Hospital.

She was born May 24, 1934, in Radnor to Walter and Edith Pearl Reef Long. She attended Delphi schools. On June 30, 1951, in Delphi, she married Donald D. Rhine at Delphi Wesleyan Church and he survives.

Mrs. Rhine retired from Purdue University as a press operator in printing services.

She loved macramé, crocheting, flower gardens and scrapbooking.

Surviving are four children, Monica Overmyer (husband: Scott) and Marcia Rhine, all of Delphi, Donald Dennis Rhine (wife: Pam) of Chalmers and Terri Jo Webb (husband: Scott) of Haskell, Okla.; a sister, Linda Nape of Brookston; a brother, Ron Long (wife: Mary) of Delphi; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Services were held Saturday at Davidson Funeral Home in Delphi, officiated by Pastors Rich and Carol Schenck. Burial was at Masonic Cemetery, Delphi.
