Helen L. Foley
She was born April 2, 1932, in Fulton, to French C. and Bernice Apt Severns. She graduated from Fulton High School in 1950. Her first marriage was to John Armstrong on July 2, 1950. He preceded her in death in 1962. She married Dale Foley on July 12, 1963, and he survives. Mrs. Foley was a life-long hairdresser. She operated shops in Monticello, Kokomo and Rochester. She also worked at Gerber-Globe Valve in Delphi for five years. She enjoyed camping and spending time with her family, which was very important to her. Surviving are two sons, Lanty Armstrong (wife: Shawnee) of Rochester and Daniel Armstrong (wife: Marcia) of Kokomo; a daughter, Debra Fulwider (husband: Bob) of Noblesville; a brother, Dennis Severns of South Bend; and four grandchildren, John Armstrong of Galveston, Marisa Peckenpaugh of Indianapolis, Lanty E. Armstrong III of Rochester and Lannette Armstrong of Fort Morgan, Colo. Mrs. Foley was preceded in death by her parents and a twin sister, Janet Guyer. Services are today, Wednesday, at 1 p.m. at Murray-Weaver Funeral Home Galveston Chapel at 401 S. California St. in Galveston. Burial will be at Riverview I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Monticello.
