ADAMS MILL CRAFT FESTIVAL will be June 16 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be craft booths, food vendors, Celtic folk music, Rendezvous (living history encampment), and mill tours. Adams Mill is located at 4640S 75E, Cutler.

DELPHI AMERICAN LEGION AUXILIARY UNIT 75 will meet June 20 at 7 p.m. in the Legion hall on S. Washington St.

DELPHI AMERICAN LEGION AND VETERANS OF FOREIGN WARS will hold a flag retirement ceremony June 14 at 7 p.m. in the VFW parking lot, 304 N. Market St. in Delphi.

Northwest Indiana Solid Waste District will hold HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE AND TIRE COLLECTION July 28 at Flora fairgrounds from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

EXPERIMENTAL AIRCRAFT ASSOCIATION Chapter 256 will host noted aviation archeologist Gary Quigg presenting "THE SEARCH FOR AMELIA" Saturday at 4:30 p.m. at the Delphi Municipal Airport. 2007 marks the 70th anniversary of the disappearance of Amelia Earhart. Quigg's group TIGHAR will search an island in the South Pacific in July for the fourth time looking for artifacts and remnants of the aviator. The event is free and the public is encouraged to attend.

Carroll County Chamber of Commerce will hold a

CHAMBER LUNCHEON today, Wednesday, at noon at Solomon's Grille in Delphi. Guest speakers will be Bradley Johnson, senior planner from Ground Rules Inc., and Carroll County Area Plan Administrator Dale Huffer. The luncheon is open to all Carroll County business people. A cost is associated with the meal.

Tickets are on sale at reduced prices for the July 7 and 8 LIONS DAY AT THE BEACH at Indiana Beach. Tickets are available pre-event only. The event will help raise funds for the club's Leader Dog and Sight First programs. Tickets are available in Delphi at Al's Town & Country Barber Shop or Bassett & Talbert/Blimpies. SENIORS MONTHLY LUNCHEON will be June 20 at noon in the fellowship hall of Delphi Presbyterian Church. There is an elevator for those in need. Call (765) 564-2371 between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. for information or a ride.

OLD SETTLERS FESTIVAL APPLICATIONS are due July 1 for those who wish to reserve booth space. Any application received after that will incur a late fee and space will not be guaranteed. Call (765) 564-3034 for information or an application.

The HORTICULTURE SERIES meeting will be held June 20 at 9 am in the Flora 4- H Exhibit Building. Paul Marcellino, Extension Educator, will present the program "Seven Steps for a Perfect Lawn." Starting dates for the Master Gardner program will be discussed during the program. Everyone is encouraged to attend and bring others who may be interested.
