Reunions
Adams Township

Alumni

The 81 annual Adams Township Alumni Banquet and Reunion was held recently at the Bee Hive Gymnasium in Burnettsville. Fifty-seven people attended. Tables were decorated in school colors, blue and gold, and memorabilia with a "1950's" theme.

Vivian Maddock Alma, class of 1940, was honored for her life and years of service to her community, church and family. Her daughter, Jan Hoover, gave the tribute. The Alumni Association gave her a red rosebudvase and an Adams School commemorative mug.

Members present from the honor classes were: Jonah Peterson of the class of 1942; Pauline Elston Hufford, Ralph Ragle, Carol Temple Wilson, and Doris Landes Davis of the class of 1947; and Joan Elston of the class of 1957. Each received a rosebud vase.

Tom Temple read a memorial tribute titled, "Sometime we'll understand," to honor 12 recently deceased members.

Officers elected to serve next year are Temple as president, Ruth Coble Crawn, vice president, and Davis, secretary/treasurer.
