MSU honors Kelly Moffitt as outstanding athlete

Kelly Moffitt of Flora was recently recognized during the Michigan State University Student Athlete Support Services' 10th annual Academic Excellence Gala held on the Michigan State campus in East Lansing, Mich. More than 200 student-athletes were honored during the event. Moffitt received the Office of the Provost Award as the 2007 Outstanding Female Freshman Athlete.

As a member of the Spartan Gymnastics Team , Moffitt also received Academic All-American honors in addition to being a MSU Letter winner.

Moffitt is attending MSU on a full athletic scholarship.
