Mary Elizabeth Oyler

Mary Elizabeth Oyler, 87, formerly of Flora, passed away at Milner Community Healthcare Center in Rossville at 7:50 p.m. Saturday, June 2, 2007.

She was born Sept. 30, 1919, in Rossville, to Elmer and Lydia Yoder Wagoner. She attended Rossville High School. On May 20, 1939, in Rossville, she married Glenn Oyler. He preceded her in death on Dec. 22, 1996.

Mrs. Oyler was a member of the Flora Old German Baptist Brethren Church.

Surviving are two sons, Atlee Oyler (wife: Doris) of Flora and Edwin Oyler (wife: Jane) of Bringhurst; two daughters, Sarah Orem (husband: Dale) of Flora and Betty Hufford (companion: Mark Sanders) of Indianapolis; one brother, Chester Wagoner of Rossville; nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Also preceding her in death were a brother and a grandson.

Services were held Tuesday at the Flora Old German Baptist Brethren Church. Burial was at Maple Lawn Cemetery, Flora.

Memorial donations may be made to Milner Assisted Living or the American Heart Association.

Reinke Funeral Home, Flora, was in charge of arrangements.
