175th anniversary celebration
Camden plans luncheon to honor its heritage

The steering committee planning events to commemorate the 175th anniversary of the Town of Camden is inviting the public to a special luncheon to honor those who have been instrumental in creating the heritage of Camden.

The event will be held July 21 at 1 p.m. in the Camden Elementary School gymnasium. Doors will open at 12:15 p.m.

A video showing of the 1982 Pageant, "Everything's Up to Date in Camden City," directed during the town's sesquicentennial celebration by Joyce Sanderson, will be previewed before the luncheon. During the luncheon, Jeris Eikenberry will play familiar piano selections. The program will feature John Pugh, builder and contractor of the 1951 Camden Gymnasium.

Cost of the luncheon is $10 per person. Reservation deadline is June 30. To attend, complete the registration form below.
