Moving forward
Former Camden third-grade teacher Lori Schwarzkopf ponders how to arrange her new classroom at Hillcrest elementary, where she will teach fourth-graders beginning the fall semester. She and several other educators within Delphi Community School Corporation were handed new teaching assignments due to re-alignment of elementary schools. Those assignments necessitated moves to different facilities for some, including Schwarzkopf. Teachers who had to move received help from student athletes and club members, faculty, staff and local individuals who volunteered muscle and machines during moving day, May 31. Schwarzkopf said she was prepared for adjustments she had to face. "I loved where I was and what I did," she explained. "I've accepted the change and am looking forward to new challenges."
