Announcements TOWPATHS, DAMS, LOCKS AND THE IRISH will be the topic for a Wednesdays in the Wild program today from 1 to 3 p.m. at Delphi Trailhead Park. Delphi Canal Association President Dan Mc- Cain will lead a narrated twohour walk along the historic canal trails. The park is located half a mile southwest of Delphi on SR25. Call (765) 567-2993. The June meeting of the WABASH WEAVERS GUILD will not be open to the public. As part of ongoing efforts by Delphi Odd Fellows to restore foundations and stones at Wilson St. Cemetery, I.O.O.F. has planned a CEMETERY WORK DAY June 9 from 8 a.m. to noon. Those who wish to help should meet at the cemetery. If possible, bring gloves, shovels, rakes, wheel barrows and a friend. Refreshments will be provided. CARROLL COUNTY GARDEN CLUB will meet June 9 at 10 a.m. at the home of Keith and Sharon Wolf, 473 N. Monroe St., in Camden. Members will plan a trip during the meeting. Residents can help fight childhood cancer "one cup at a time" at ALEX'S LEMONADE STAND June 8, 9 and 10 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day at Carroll County Country Club, 411 E. Howard St., Delphi. The all-donations lemonade stand was started by cancer victim Alexandra Scott when she was four and has become a global fundraiser for the fight against cancer. Donations may also be made online at www.firstgiving. com/amyrivers. PREVENT CHILD ABUSE CARROLL COUNTY will offer a presentation on the prevention of SHAKEN BABY SYNDROME June 21 at 7 p.m. Participants will learn the dangers and consequences of shaking a child. Nurturing skills and crying and behavior cues of young children will be discussed. Caregivers can learn to identify causes of Shaken Infant Syndrome, understand those at risk and physical injuries associated with the syndrome and ways to cope with the frustration of caring for a crying child. Join Prevent Child Abuse Carroll County, at FIRST CHRISTIAN CHURCH DISCIPLES OF CHRIST and South Street in Flora. The program is free and childcare will be provided.
