50th anniversary open house

Norman and Jane Beck of Flora will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house on Sunday. The event, hosted by their children, will be held at the Wabash & Erie Canal Conference Center, Delphi, from 2 to 5 p.m.

Beck and the former Jane Harness were married June 2, 1957, in Young America Baptist Church by the Rev. Harry Rea.

The couple own and operate Beck's Interiors in Flora, a family-owned business for 44 years.

They have three children, Norma Gilbert (husband: Dave) and Gordon Beck (wife: Pamela), all of Flora, and Heather Harvey (husband: Tony) of West Lafayette. They also have seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The couple requests that gifts be omitted.
