Richard L. Munson

Richard L. "Dick" Munson, 73, of Logansport, died May 27, 2007, at his residence.

Born Aug. 17, 1933, in Carroll County, he was the son of Charles B. and Waneita L. Parish Munson.

A U.S. Army veteran, he served in the Korean War.

Mr. Munson, a retired farmer, was a horse caretaker for Robert Gangloff for over 30 years.

Surviving are his companion, Dee Rolls of Logansport; two daughters, Elaine Hutton (husband: Dave) of St. Louis, Mo., and Shirley Andrus (husband: David) of Kissimmee, Fla.; two sons, Richard "Rick" Munson (companion: Kim) of Stroudsburg, Pa., and Scooter Rolls (wife: Renee) of Logansport; two brothers, Edward Munson (wife: June) of Logansport and Gary Munson (wife: Sharon) of Twelve Mile; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Gundrum Funeral Home, Logansport. Burial with full military rites will be at Davis Cemetery, Burnettsville. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
