"Survivor: Delphi" summer camps begin

Delphi Parks and Recreation will host "Survivor: Delphi" summer camps from June 1 through July 6. The programs consist of numerous "challenges" which incorporate endurance, problem solving and teamwork skills.

Camps feature a variety of sports and arts in which students will learn basic technique and strategy.

Tennis Camp will be June 4- through 8 for kindergarten to third and fourth to seventh graders at DCHS courts, with Wendi Thompson and Margaret Mose.

Golf Camp is June 11 through 15 at the Carroll Country Country Club.

Gymnastics Camp is June 25 through 29. Lessons will be given to four-to-six and eightto- 12-year-olds by two-time State Champion Gymnast, Shawneci Windell.

Art Camps include watercolor June 12 with Sherri Cripe, acrylic and drawing June 14 and 28 respectively with Sara Daly-Brosman.

'Survivors' will travel by trolley to Tropicanoe Cove June 15 and July 6.

Concluding the "Survivor: Delphi," programming, a tribal council will be held for all participant family members July 6 at Riley Park. 'Survivors' will be eligible for prizes presented at tribal council.
