Lady Oracles lose sectional heartbreaker

      For the second year in a row, Coach Randy German's Delphi girls' softball team left the field feeling as if they were the better team after a closely-played season ending loss in the semi-final round of the Class 2A Sectional played last Tuesday at North Montgomery.

Oracles win last seven regular season games
      The Delphi Oracle baseball team finished regular season with a 13-15 record, including winning their last seven games. Their last game was against Sheridan, a Hoosier Conference foe, winning 12-1.

      Fountain Central eliminated the Oracles from Sectional play 6-2 on Monday. Kyle Bender gave up 3 runs in the first on a couple of hits and a fielding error. His record on the season was 5-6. 'YMCA Relive Your Youth Track & Field Event' set
      The first annual "YMCA Relive Your Youth Track and Field Event" will be held June 23 at the Carroll High School athletic field. There will be four age groups competing: Men and women, age 30-54, and men and women, ages 55 and up.
