Martial Arts Championship in Delphi
Jim and Kelli Snowberger of Snows' Mixed Martial Arts in Delphi hosted the Open Style Martial Arts Indiana State Championship. The championship was held at Hillcrest Elementary. Events included sparring, grappling, forms, breaking, weapons, and self defense. There were over 120 competitors from 18 different schools. The competitors were from Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, and Ohio. The Best Supporting School was Lake Self Defense from Hartville, Ohio. Grand Championship Black Belt Forms was earned by Master Tom Cleave of Kokomo. Grand Champion Black Belt Sparring honors went to Master Bob Waldron of Huntington.
