Danny Wiles

Danny Wiles, 49, of Flora, passed away suddenly at 7:25 p.m. Friday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Lafayette.

Born Sept. 16, 1957, in Logansport, he was the son of Burl and Dorothy Moore Wiles. He graduated from Carroll High School in 1975. He married Cathy Seele on Feb. 5, 1977, in Rockfield.

Mr. Wiles worked at Subaru Isuzu in Lafayette as a leader on the finish line for 12 years.

He enjoyed golf, fishing and following NASCAR racing.

Surviving with his parents of Flora are his companion, Cathy Podemski; three daughters, Brandy Thompson (husband: Mike) of Flora, Krista Podemski and April Podemski both of Flora; one son, David Wiles of Rossville; three brothers, Rick Wiles (wife: Terri) of Indianapolis, Ronnie Wiles (wife: Susie) of Flora and Robert Wiles (wife: Shelly) of Burlington; and two granddaughters, Morgan Thompson and Shaylyn Podemski.

Services were held Tuesday at Reinke Funeral Home in Flora. Burial was at Maple Lawn Cemetery in Flora.
