Meadows wins national award
Comet staff report

Meadows
Allison Meadows of Lafayette, formerly of Flora, a member of the North Central Advertising Federation (NCAdFed), was honored recently as the national president of the year by the American Advertising Federation (AAF). The Lafayette club was also named the 2007 National Club of the Year for clubs with membership of under 100 people.

Earlier this year, Meadows completed an 18-month term as president of NCAdFed, an organization of local advertising and marketing professionals. During Meadows' tenure as president, she helped the club reinvent itself under a new name. The club was previously known as the Greater Lafayette Association of Advertising and Marketing Professionals.

The club entered eight AAF categories, winning first in programming, advertising, education, membership and club management, and third in government relations and public

service.

Meadows is director of marketing and admissions at Mulberry Health & Retirement Community. She also writes a weekly cooking column that appears in the Comet.
