Carroll FFA Chapter recently held its annual FFA Banquet.

Leadership contest winners and participants, proficiency winners, and CDE participants were all recognized.

Desiray Simmons, the State Northern Region Vice President, and also a former member of the Carroll Chapter, was the guest speaker. She presented her first state officer FFA jacket to the Carroll Chapter.

Chapter Scholarship Award - Morgan Yoder.

WILO Determination Award - Lydia Hedde.

Star Discovery members from the seventh grade - Chad Griffin, Ricky Burns, and Trey Overholser,

Star Discovery eighth grade members - Quinci Eller, Jess Yoder, and Stephanie Strawcutter.

Star Greenhand - Jill Griffin.

Star Agribusiness - Josh Hayden.

Star Farmer - Scott Guckien.

Darin Oyler Mental Attitude Award - Scott Guckien.

David Skiles Inspiration Award - Sarah Brown.

Jack Moss Enthusiasm Award - Nicole Spesard.

Carroll FFA Alumni Scholarship - Nicole Spesard.

Carroll FFA Alumni: Vision of Potential Award - Courtney Rinehart.

Honorary Chapter recipients - Mr. and Mrs Tom Guckien, Mr. and Mrs. Bret Rinehart, Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Hayden, Tammy Kelly, Junior Pinkard, and Nadia Carmosini.

Kara Overholser received her Hoosier FFA Degree.

The new officer team was inducted and includes: Kara Overholser, president; Travis Martin and Chandler Keown, vice presidents; Malena Zook, secretary; Megan Ayres, treasurer; Sarah Griffin and Jill Griffin, reporters; and Justin Moffitt, sentinel.
