Alzheimer's Conference to be held in Lafayette

The Alzheimer's Association of Greater Lafayette, Area IV Agency, and North Central Advertising Federation will host a Caregivers Conference for families and other caregivers of those with Alzheimer's disease on June 6. The conference will be held at Faith Baptist Church on SR 26 East, Lafayette, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Discussion topics, presented by local and statewide professionals and caregivers, will include communicating, legal issues, behaviors, grieving, guilt and denial, self care, and community resources.

There is no charge to attend; however, registration is required by no later than May 29, by calling the Alzheimer's Association Helpline at 800-272- 3900. Complimentary breakfast and lunch will be provided.
