Canal work
A visible difference can be seen in the canal waterway off Bicycle Bridge Road in Delphi. Workers have removed tree remnants and debris, and restored the canal to look more like it once did. Work is also being done on the canal sidecut, pictured lower right, which once took boats to the foot of Main Street. In a couple of years, the Wabash & Erie Canal Association expects to have its own replica canal boat.
