Lady Oracles take Sectional opener

      In a rematch of last year's championship game, Delphi defeated Fountain Central 3-0 Monday night in the opening game of the Class 2A Sectional played at North Montgomery. Ironically, the game was eerily similar to last year's contest.

      Prior to Delphi's 3-0 victory over Fountain Central Monday night in the Class 2A North Montgomery Sectional, the Lady Oracles prepared for the postseason with a pair of wins over West Lafayette and Caston, after dropping a close one on the road last week at Clinton Prairie.

Oracle baseball team puts 4 in win column
      The Oracle varsity baseball squad has had conference game after conference game due to weather. They played the Indians of Twin Lakes Monday night and came out on top 12-6. The Oracles are 6-4 in the conference with two more games with Sheridan this week. Their overall season record is 10-15.
