Gymnast pulls top five in regionals
Shawneci Windell of Delphi displays medals she received during level eight regional gymnastic competition held April 29 in Indianapolis. Windell went up against 54 competitors from Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky and Illinois at the event. She placed 11th on floor, 14th on bars and 2nd on beam. Her all-around score of 36.8 was her highest this season. She said she plans to work toward level nine skills before next season begins in October.
