William F. Terry Jr. William F. Terry Jr., 83, of Waynetown, died May 13, 2007, at 7:50 a.m. in his residence. He resided in West Lafayette for many years, lived in Stockwell for 30 years, and Waynetown the past five years. He was born Feb. 16, 1924, to the William F. and Margaret Morris Terry. He married Jane A. Reagan on March 12, 1964, in Lafayette, and she survives. Mr. Terry was a graduate of West Lafayette High School. He worked in the grinding department at Fairfield Manufacturing Co. for 26 years, retiring in 1989. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and served on the U.S.S. Colorado in the Philippines during World War II. Mr. Terry was a member of Crawfordsville American Legion Post #072 and Delphi VFW. He enjoyed woodworking. Surviving are a son, Greg Terry of Delphi; six daughters, Suzanne Cole (husband: Jim) of Corona, Calif., Sandra Geisler, Stephanie Joyce (husband: Dick) and Linda James (husband: Tom), all of Lafayette, Sharon Nethercutt (husband: Fred) of Buffalo, and Susan McGee (husband: J.W.) of Amarillo, Texas; three sisters, Helen Merrell of Lafayette, Eleanor Carter of Sparta, N.J., and Lou Cummins (husband: Jim) of Howe; two brothers, Robert Terry (wife: Betty) of Monticello and Donald Terry (wife: Shirley) of Battle Ground; 14 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Chuck Terry, a grandson, Chad Cole, and a great-granddaughter, Autumn Cox. Visitation will be held today, Wednesday, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Hippensteel Funeral Home in Lafayette. A graveside service will be held May 17 at 10:30 a.m. at Dayton Cemetery, officiated by Pastor Todd Ladd. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Elizabeth Hospice.
