The camp will serve youth in the northern section of the state. Law enforcement leadership camp is a program provided by the Indiana Sheriff 's Association for boys and girls who are in the seventh or eighth grades in school and are interested in learning more about a career in law enforcement. The camp provides a meaningful experience and relationship with other campers and sheriff officers who serve as counselors and instructors. Burns said any young person interested in attending camp should contact the sheriff's office at (765) 564- 2413 or the school counselor for an application and additional information. Arrangements can be made to provide registration fee through the generous donations of local businesses and civic organizations. |
