Helping hands restore historic marker
W.C. and Janice Madden of Monticello apply a fresh coat of Indiana Historical Society-approved paint to a historic marker next to the US421 bridge between Delphi and Pittsburg. Mr. Madden is a member of the Indiana and White County historical societies and the writer of 23 historic books. Madden said after he retired he began to do what he could to help preserve these types of reminders of American heritage.
