50th anniversary open house

Joe and Barbara Jones will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house hosted by their children and grandchildren. The event will be held from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday at the Wabash and Erie Canal Conference Center in Delphi.

They will also celebrate their anniversary with a trip to Ireland.

Jones and the former Barbara Schock were married on May 12, 1957, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Camden. The Rev. Richard Recher officiated.

Jones is a retired banker. Mrs. Jones is a homemaker.

The couple has two children, Brian Jones (wife Robin) of Delphi and Beth Scott of Camden, and five grandchildren.
