Newell, Kaepell pledge vows

Jennifer Newell of Fishers and Jason Kaeppel of Indianapolis were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. Nov. 11 at St Joseph Catholic Church in Delphi. Father Peter Vanderkolk officiated.

Music was provided by organist Tim Foland of Lafayette, vocalists Christina Pitty of Indianapolis and Marsha Pitty of Delphi, and violinist Patrick Murphy of Lafayette.

The bride is daughter of Richard and Donna Newell of Delphi. Parents of the groom are David and Barbara Spurgeon of Brookston.

Allison Henk of Lafayette served as guest registrar and Liza Hayden of Lafayette served as gift attendant.

Matron of honor was Joy Arquette of Indianapolis, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids included Christina Schneider of Chicago, Ill., Alison Duff of Greenwood, Shelley Miller of Lafayette, Amanda Spurgeon of Brookston, sister of the groom, Ashley Nobbe of Indianapolis, Kari Helms of Chandler, Ariz., and Christine Griffitts of Fishers.

Bailey and Jordyn Gasser of Delphi were flower girls. Abraham Kennedy of Brookston carried the rings.

Best man was Jacob Mansfield of Indianapolis. Groomsmen were James Dishroom of Indianapolis, Jared Simmerman of Brookston, cousin of the groom, Keith Spurgeon of Lebanon, brother of the groom, Chris Sapp of Bloomington, Ill., Jeff Newell of Delphi, brother of the bride, Pate Arquette of Indianapolis, and Jonathan Newell of Delphi, brother of the bride.

Craig Simmerman of Brookston, cousin of the groom and Jason Sadler of Scottsdale, Ariz., cousin of the bride, served as ushers.

The reception was held at Shively Stadium Club in Ross- Ade Stadium at Purdue University in West Lafayette.

The bride is a 1998 graduate of Delphi Community High School. She graduated in 2002 from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science degree in food science. She is employed at Johnson and Johnson in pharmaceutical sales.

The groom is a 1999 graduate of Delphi Community High School and a 2003 graduate of Indiana State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in health and exercise science and business administration. He is employed with Indiana Farm Bureau as an insurance agent.

Following a ten-day trip to Ocho Rios, Jamaica, Mr. and Mrs. Kaeppel are residing at 12012 Cobblestone Dr in Fishers.
