Delphi Police Department

April 23, 10:30 p.m. - Warrant service, West Monroe St. Larry D. Hunt was taken into custody on a Carroll Superior Court warrant for failure to appear. Officer Justin Wilson investigated.

April 24, 5 p.m. - Warrant service, Stone quarry. Justin Herbst, Delphi, was taken into custody on a Carroll Superior Court warrant for failure to appear. Wilson investigated.

April 24, 3 p.m. - Located property, SR25 near Dairy Queen. Tools scattered on roadway retrieved for safety reasons. Wilson investigated.

April 24, 6:40 p.m. - Property damage, McDonald's parking lot. James W. Nelson, 17, and Andrew M. Hall, 17, both of Delphi. Wilson investigated.

April 26, 7:35 a.m. - SR 25 and old SR 25. Leah L. Penn, 18, Delphi. Sgt. Brook McCain investigated.

April 26, 6:14 p.m. - Property damage, US 421 and SR 25. Thomas Faust, 52, Lafayette, and Martin Lester, 40, Frankfort. Officer Paul Vondrasek investigated.

April 28, 6:02 a.m. - Burglary/criminal mischief, Chambers Estates. Marion Wright, 34, Delphi, reported a burglary at his residence. Wilson investigated.

April 29, 1:25 a.m. - Resisting, illegal consumption, possession of marijuana, maintaining and visiting a common nuisance and disorderly conduct, Brewer Ave. and Delphi Police Department. Alejandro Hinjosa, 25, Ruben Zamora, 19, Hector Bautista, Jose Zamora, 18 and Erika Zamora, 22, all of Delphi. Investigation of loud music led to arrests of four males. Family members later visited the department where they were arrested. Wilson investigated with the help of three officers from various police agencies.

April 29, 6:58 a.m. - OWI, SR25 at Cottage St. Juan Vazquez-Martinez, 47, Marion, stopped for traffic infraction and found to be intoxicated. Wilson investigated.

Sheriff's Office

April 22, 1:45 p.m. - Property damage, CR 100N. near CR 625W. George L. Owens, 39, Delphi. Chisel plow pulled by tractor became tangled in power lines causing a utility pole to break. Sgt. Dennis Randle investigated.

April 24, 11:13 p.m. - Non-criminal information, 12900 block CR700W. Family disturbance in northwestern Carroll County. Report forwarded to CPS. Deputy Jay Schimmel investigated.

April 26, 7 a.m. - Property damage, CR1100N. near US421. Erin A. Lilly, 18, Monticello. Driver cited for infraction after losing control of vehicle due to distraction with a cell phone. Deputy John Chapman investigated.

April 26, 10:12 a.m. - Criminal information, 1500 block US421. Firearm missing from a residence in Deer Creek Township. Chapman investigated.

April 26, 7:32 p.m. - Burglary, 2500 block Kerlin Ave. Computer and two long guns taken from a West Delphi residence. Sgt. Mark Back investigated.

April 27, 1:53 p.m. - Property damage, 411 Howard St. Frederick K. Bayon, 60, Indianapolis. Randle investigated.

April 27, 5:41 p.m. - Theft, 200 block CR350E. Attempted theft of anhydrous ammonia in Monroe Township. Schimmel investigated.

April 27, 6:40 p.m. - Burglary, 6900 block CR 350S. Donnie Brumbaugh, Logansport arrested for burglary, theft and invasion of privacy. Schimmel investigated.

April 27, 9:49 p.m. - Operating while never licensed, SR 25 near CR 400W. Saul Franco, 28, Logansport, arrested for operating a vehicle while never licensed. Franco posted a $500 bond. Davidson investigated.

April 28, 11:23 p.m. - Battery, 12600 block Tecumseh Bend Rd. A male juvenile from Illinois alleged he was battered by adults Joan Hughes and Rene Zelasko of Evergreen Park, Ill. Schimmel investigated.

April 29, 4:09 p.m. - Information report, 400 block Main St., Camden. Thad Wilburn, Fort Wayne, and a 9- year-old juvenile reported bitten while attempting to intervene in a dog fight. Randle investigated.

Deer related reports

April 22, 3:10 a.m. - CR 300N. Near CR 450W. Annie M. Embrey, 40, Monticello, was arrested for OWI after swerving to miss a deer and exhibiting symptoms of using alcohol and refusing a breath test. Maj. Tobe Leazenby investigated.

April 26, 9:23 p.m. - SR 25 near East Rockfield Rd. Robert J. Pilles, 52, Logansport. Deputy Mark Back investigated.

April 28, 5:03 a.m. - US 421 at CR 900N. Kimberly A. Lawson, 41, Delphi. Schimmel investigated.

Flora Police Dept.

April 24, 7:04 a.m. - Larry J. Trapp, 51, Flora, was pulling a field cultivator near the intersection of Clark and S. Center streets. A utility line was caught on the cultivator and pulled down. Officer Randy Larimore investigated.

April 25, 2 p.m. - A report of telephone harassment was taken at 308 1/2 W. Walnut St. Officer Mark Thomas investigated.

April 25, 10:45 p.m. - Kristy Martin, 29, Flora, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation. Chief Paul Redmon and Deputy Steve Mullin investigated.

April 26, 3:15 p.m. - A theft report was taken at 507 E. Main St. The complaintant reported unauthorized transactions on a bank account. Officer Mark Thomas investigated.

April 27, 2:23 p.m. - Keith L. York, 61, of Ohio, was pulling a trailer near 518 E. Elizabeth St., and struck a telephone junction box. Larimore investigated.

April 27, 9:36 p.m. - A voyeurism report was taken at 416 W. Walnut St. The complaintant stated he observed a male wearing dark clothing and white shoes looking in his window. Sgt. James Bishop investigated.

April 30, 6:47 p.m. - A report of credit card fraud was taken at 1415 S. Center St. Officer Josh Disinger investigated.

April 30, 4:06 p.m. - Theft of fuel was reported at the Citgo station. Thomas investigated.

May 1, 4:23 a.m. - Following a traffic stop, James S. Prater, 46, Flora, was arrested for driving while suspended with a prior conviction. Disinger investigated.
