DR. ERIN HAMILTON SPENCE will be presenting research entitled "Cord Blood sCD30, Gestational Age, and Labor" at the Pediatric Academic Societies annual convention in Toronto on May 5.

The convention is sponsored each year by the American Pediatric Society, the Society of Pediatric Research, Ambulatory Pediatric Association, and the American Academy of Pediatrics.

She is the lead researcher of an eight member team from the University of Texas Medical Sciences at Houston. A 1992 graduate of Carroll, she will be completing her fellowship in neonatology in June 2008.
