Faith Lutheran Church will have another Family Fun Night on Friday, starting at 6 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend. Those attending are asked to take a covered dish or snacks.

Lutheran Women will meet Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the church with Margy Albaugh giving the lesson and Eileen Lewis providing the refreshments. All women of the church are invited.

Deer Creek Presbyterian Church will have a morning breakfast on May 5 at the church from 7-10 a.m. All are invited.

Deer Creek Presbyerian Church will host its annual Swine & Dine on May 6th at the church from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The 50-year class of 1957 was honored at the Deer Creek Alumni Banquet held April 21 at the Community Center. Members of that class attending were Charles Appleton, Harold Appleton, Nan Beck Jones, Joetta Joyce Schwaninger, Martha Jo Kuszmaul Hawley, Ron Kuszmaul, Delores Crumpton Brown, Jim Wallace, Wayne Slusser, Bill Campbell, Harvey Spangler, George and Lois Sidenbender Wallace. The group also met at the home of Nan and Larry Jones for a gettogether.

Faith Lutheran Youth Group worked in the yards of some of the elderly of the church on Saturday. . Kabel Meek was honored on his fourth birthday with a party hosted by his parents, Shawn and Emily Meek. There were 18 people in attendance. For a special birthday present he was given a live goat.
