Oracles come from behind to defeat Bulldogs

The Oracle JV softball team improved its record to 2-1 last Thursday night after defeating Clinton Central 5- 4.

The Oracles' "never give up" attitude was shown as they battled back after falling behind 4-0 after the first inning. Cassi Oliver claimed her first win of the season.

The JV squad was down 4- 3 at the top of the 6th inning when the bats of Haley Lynde, Hannah Evans and Sami Mayhew came alive to give the visiting Oracle team a 5-4 advantage. Oliver proved she had the fortitude to go the distance, striking out 2 of the last three batters. The game came to a conclusion after six innings due to darkness.
