Rossville's Kelly to play basketball at Franklin College

J e n n i f e r Kelly, a senior at R o s s v i l l e Middle/High School, will be playing b a s k e t b a l l next winter at Franklin C o l l e g e , Franklin.

Even though she has earned 12 varsity letters in cross country, track and basketball at Rossville, she will only play basketball at Franklin.

She had the opportunity to compete in cross country and track, but chose academics over additional sports even though she is a standout athlete and record holder in both at RHS.

Kelly holds runners-up records in basketball to RHS's 1991 Indiana Miss Basketball Jennifer Jacoby. During her four high school basketball seasons she has scored a total of 947 points and earned 575 assists.

Franklin College is a Division III school in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference.

Kelly will be attending Franklin College on a partial academic scholarship. She plans to major in recreation.

Kelly also works part-time at It-Figures! Fitness Center in Rossville. She is the daughter of Cathy Kelly and Gary Kelly and the granddaughter of Susan Mann- Hitchcock of Flora and Delphi.
