April Rae Cook of Columbus, Ohio, and Dane Hunter Fife of Flora announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Kathy Jo Cook of Columbus and Gary Cook of Lakeland, Fla. She is a graduate of Worthington Christian High School and is attending Indiana Wesleyan University, where she will graduate this month with a degree in nursing. She will be employed as a registered nurse at Lafayette Home Hospital.

Her fiancé is a graduate of Carroll Jr.-Sr. High School. He is employed at Zinn Kitchens of Flora.

A May 12 wedding is being planned.
