American Legion Post #75 will host its ANNUAL BIRTHDAY AND PAST COMMANDERS SUPPER April 30 at 6:30 p.m. at the Legion. Meat and drinks will be furnished. Those who attend should bring a covered dish and table service.

Flora Volunteer Fire Department will host a PANCAKE & SAUSAGE BREAKFAST on Saturday from 6 a.m.-10 a.m. at the 4-H Community Building at Flora park. Free will donations will be accepted at the door. All proceeds will be donated to Carroll County Relay for Life/American Cancer Society.

MARKET DAY pick-up will be Saturday from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. at the Carroll Elementary Gym.

The Governor's Council on Impaired & Dangerous Driving will host a REGIONAL MOTORCYCLE SUMMIT on April 26-27 in conjunction with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) Great Lakes Region. The summit will take place at the Radisson Hotel in downtown Indianapolis. It was incorrectly announced last week that the summit will be held at the ISP Post 52.

CARROLL FFA BANQUET will be April 23 at 6:30 p.m. in the school cafeteria. Members of the chapter will receive awards for their accomplishments throughout the year. Guest speaker will be Desiray Simmons, FFA state vice president. Those who would like to attend the banquet should RSVP by April 19 to Steve Keown, 967-4157, or email, skeown@carroll.k12.in.us.

FRIENDLY CIRCLE EH CLUBwill meet at 11 a.m. April 25 at Gracie's in Flora. Donnabelle Myer is hostess.

St. Elizabeth Healthcare Center is sponsoring a seminar called PREPARING FOR JOINT REPLACEMENT SURGERY on April 26 at 7 p.m. at its facility at 701 Armory Road, in Delphi. Dr. Peter Torok from Lafayette Orthopedic Clinic will discuss how to prepare the body ahead of time for joint replacement surgery, leading to a smoother recovery. Light refreshments will be served. Seating is limited, so register by calling (765) 564-6380.
