Letters to the Editor Last week I called the county highway garage about a road near me (Radnor), asking when they might be able to fix the holes in it. The answer I got was, "The only thing we can do is grind it up and turn it back to gravel because we are broke and have no money to fix the roads." Which in fact, is what they did, turned it back to a gravel road. What happened to all the money for the roads and what about the new wheel tax? I have heard numerous complaints about roads around the Lake Freeman and Carrollton Bridge areas being repaved last summer that didn't need to be.
