Tammy Sue Birdsell

Tammy Sue Birdsell, 43, of Flora, passed away e a r l y Wednesday m o r n i n g , April 4, 2007, in Bringhurst.

Born Nov. 30, 1963, she was the daughter of Jim Jenkins and Carolyn Tyra She graduated from Delphi Community High School in 1982.

Tammy had been employed as a daycare worker. Her hobbies included fishing, camping and sewing.

She was previously married to Jim Prater.

Surviving are her mother, Carolyn Tyra of Flora and father, Jim Jenkins of Yeoman; two sons, Dustin Prater of Flora and Joseph Prater, at home; one daughter, Tabatha "Tabby" Prater, at home; three brothers, James Jenkins, Jeff Jenkins, and T.J. Brower, all of Lafayette; two sisters, Lynn Simms of Burlington and Teresa Sisson of Bringhurst; and two grandchildren.

A memorial service was held Saturday afternoon at Reinke Funeral Home in Flora. Creta Hollis officiated the service.
