Canal Center host site for two plays in April

Master's Voice Players Drama Club will feature two one-act plays during its spring productions - April 20 at 7 p.m. and April 21 at 1 and 6:30 p.m. at the Wabash & Erie Canal Conference Center in Delphi. "The Importance of Being Earnest" and "Tevya's Daughters" will be presented.

The club, comprised of Christian home-school students, is in its 14th year of producing wholesome family-oriented plays and musicals.

"The Importance of Being Earnest" is a classic farce by Oscar Wilde. Performers will be Sam Anderson, Melissa McVay. Ben Gamel, Heather Glenn, Rebecca McVay, Adam Whitford, Allison Whitford, David Haley and Thomas Glenn.

"Tevya's Daughters" is based on the stories of Sholom Aleichem. This one-act version covers two stories, "How Tevya the Drayman Became Tevya the Dairyman" and "Tzeitl." Performers for this play will be Michael Miley, Robyn Haley, Naomi Luper, Valerie Haley, Hannah Luper, Joseph Luper, Orlena Faris, Susie Haley, Thomas Glenn and David Haley.
