Baby, it was cold outside!
The wind was howling, the temperature was struggling to reach 25 degrees, but the sun was out as the annual Easter Egg Hunt in Delphi was held on the courthouse grounds Saturday. Nearly 200 children attended to look for plastic, candy-filled eggs, get Easter tattoos, have their faces painted, visit the fire prevention trailer, and meet the Easter Bunny. Four lucky children found eggs marked as grand prize winners. Bicycles, donated by local merchants and individuals, were won by one-year-old Andrew Coldwell, two-year-old Leah Johnston, six-year-old Hailey Burkhart, and nine-year-old Tiffany Pelphrey. The event was sponsored by Prevent Child Abuse Carroll County.
