Camden Camden Woman's Literary Club will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Reading Room at the Camden Public Library. Response was a favorite family vacation. The program on "Indiana Roots, Six of One, Half Dozen of Another" by Mike Redmond was presented by Billie Hedde. The plant a tree at the park project was discussed. Hostesses were Pat Casserly and Nancy Biederwolf. Women's Missionary Society of the Baptist Church will meet at 1:30 p.m. April 18 at the home of Jimpsie Doyel. Aim Hi E.H. Club will meet at 7 p.m. April 19 in the home of Carolyn Edging with Eva Lou Shanks as co-hostess. Camden Lions Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. April 18 at the Fireman's Lounge. A representative from Camp Tecumseh YMCA Outdoor Center will speak during the Sunday morning service at the Camden Baptist Church. Dorcas Missionary Society of the Baptist Church met last Thursday at the church with six members present. Devotions by Mary Whitfield were read by Mary Lou Rude. Bible book of the month is Nehemiah. Hostess was Mary Lou Rude. Camden Lions Club met last Wedesday in the Fireman's Lounge with 12 members and two guests attending. Past District Governor Bill Penn spoke on the Lions' sight program. Richard Crowell will be inducted as a member at the club's April 18 meeting. Mary Whitfield will serve as chairman of the Lions Club Tractor Pull advertising committee. Frank and Mary Whitfield enjoyed Sunday evening with their family at their home. Those present were Bob and Mary Frances Stilson, John David and Karen Whitfield, Frank Daniel, Shanell, Zackery and Chelsea Whitfield, and George Trapp. |
