Faith Lutheran Church will be hosting a Family Fun Night on Friday. Everyone is invited. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish.

Deer Creek Community Center will have a Hap's Chicken fundraiser on April 18 from 4 to 7:30 p.m. at the Center. For ticket information, contact Lois Wallace at 859-2695.

The Johnson-Herr Easter Dinner was held Sunday at the Community Center. There were 51 in attendances.

A surprise birthday party was held recently to honor Dot Fulton. Those attending were Ed and Phyllis McCloskey of Kokomo, Don and Jean Willy, Jeff and Denise Craig and Della Craig of Delphi, Judy Weaver of Lafayette, and Kevin, Becky and Amanda Fulton of Mishawaka.

Loren and Karen Hylton have returned from a trip. They stopped in Birmingham, where they visited his sister and husband, Pam and Jack Little. Also visiting the Littles were their son and family, Chris and Anna Little and Conor of New Jersey. The Hyltons then went on to Houston where they boarded a cruise ship that took them to Mexico and Belize. They returned home through Arkansas.
