Laura Powers and Matt Amos have plans to wed Sept. 22 at Faith Church of Christ in Burlington.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Greg and Julie Powers of Sharpsville. She graduated from Tri-Central High School in 2002 and from Indiana University in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in public management. She is employed as a benefit specialist for the State Personnel Department.

The groom-elect is the son of Pat and Becky Amos of Burlington. He graduated from Carroll Jr.-Sr. High School in 2001 and attended Butler University. He is employed by Verizon in Westfield as a drafting engineer.
