Maynard, McCarty pledge vows

Jennifer Maynard of Delphi and Brent McCarty of Apex, NC, were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. Feb. 24 at First Baptist Church in Lafayette. Pastor Tad Finch officiated. The bride is the daughter of Marc and Jeanetta Maynard of Stormlake, Iowa, and Richard and Patsy Scott of Camden. Parents of the groom are Linda McCarty of Rossville and the late Roger McCarty.

Music was provided by pianist Jason Gregori of Springfield, Mo., and vocalists Charity Gregori of Springfield, Mo., and Meagan Maynard of Lafayette.

Matron of honor was Carrie Axline of Westfield, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Charity Byerly of Charlottesville, Va., Melissa Finch of Anderson, Angie Maynard of Delphi, sister of the bride, and Meagan Maynard of Lafayette, sister-inlaw of the bride.

Madison Finch of Anderson and Rebekah Cunningham of Lafayette were flower girls. Ring bearer was Jarret Bourbor of Cutler, nephew of the groom.

Best man was Jon Thayer of Lafayette. Groomsmen were Doug Bourbor of Cutler, brother-in-law of the groom, Bill Maynard of Delphi, brother of the bride, Brian McCarty, brother of the groom, and Jess Maynard, brother of the bride, both of Lafayette.

Sam Axline of Westfield, brother-in-law of the bride, and Nathan Sheagley of Flora served as ushers.

Memorial candle lighters were Jenna and Maren Mc- Carty of Lafayette, nieces of the groom. Ashley Dilling, Katie Gray, and Cassie Oliver, all of Delphi, served as gift attendants.

A reception at The Trails in West Lafayette followed the ceremony.

The bride is a 1993 graduate of Delphi Community High School. She graduated in 1996 from Ivy Tech with an associate degree in respiratory therapy. In 2002, she graduated from Browneville Revival School of Ministry with an associate degree in practical ministry. She is employed in respiratory therapy.

The groom is a 1995 graduate of Carroll Jr.-Sr. High School and a 1999 graduate of Wabash College, Crawfordsville, with a bachelor's degree in economics. He is employed as a human resources manager with Caterpillar in Raleigh, NC.

Following a one-week trip to Gatlinberg, Tenn., Mr. and Mrs. McCarty are residing at 823 Straywhite Ave., Apex, NC 27539.
