Delphi Police Department

March 6, no time given - Property damage, Wabash Valley parking lot. Kevin Johnson and Wanda Hunt, both of Delphi. Johnson was arrested for driving while suspended as an infraction. Officer Justin Wilson investigated.

March 13, 3:30 p.m. - Aggravated battery, Bradshaw Ave. Trista Moser, 26, Delphi was arrested for causing bodily harm to Jennifer Wireman, Delphi. Wilson investigated.

March 16, no time given - False informing, Armory Rd. William Ramirez, 30, arrested for false informing after providing several different names and dates of birth for identification at traffic stop. Wilson investigated.

March 16, 6 p.m. - Criminal mischief/ information, 511 N. Union St. Carl Treece reported a broken garage window. Wilson investigated.

March 25, 8 p.m. - Possession of legend drug, marijuana and paraphernalia, CVS parking lot. A 17-yearold juvenile was found to be in possession of prescription medication given to him illegally. Consent to search residence was given by a parent and marijuana and paraphernalia was located there. Wilson investigated.

March 24, 9:05 a.m. - Property damage, McDonald's parking lot. Lowell Hoehne, 83, Lafayette struck 3 parked cars when he applied pressure to gas pedal instead of breaking. Officer Paul Vondrasek investigated.

March 26, 3:22 p.m. - Property damage, SR25 and Wabash St. Crystal M. Morris, 30, Monticello and Marcus K. Massey, 34, Bunker Hill. Sgt. Brook McCain investigated.

April 1, 4 a.m. - Burglary - Jarrett Embrey, 18, Lafayette was charged with burglary of a dwelling. Bond was set at $50,000. Vondrasek investigated.

Sheriff's Office

March 26 - Warrant service, Speedway. Brian C. Shanks, 46, Speedway arrested on a Carroll County warrant for probation violation for dealing in methamphetamine. Shanks is incarcerated in the Carroll County jail with no bond. Det. Kevin Hammond investigated.

March 26, 3:43 p.m. - Criminal information, 6000 block Hodges Dr. Juvenile dog owner issued a citation for harboring a non-imunized dog after investigation of dog bite. Animal was quarantined. Deputy Zachary Hall investigated.

March 26, 7 p.m. - Kidnapping, 1200 block CR750N. Biranda Buerkle reported her 18 month-old son was taken from her during a custody dispute with her mother. Hall continues to investigate the matter.

March 27, 8:30 a.m. - Property damage, SR29 at CR400N. Pilar Hernandez, 36, Chicago and Donald C. Smoroske, 62, South Bend. Deputy Mike Thomas investigated.

March 28, 4 p.m. - Residential entry, 3800 block CR750N. Forced entry into residence while owners were gone. Deputy Grant Davidson investigated.

March 28, 11:50 p.m. - Harassment, 4800 block of 5th St. Harassment via telephone reported. Sgt. Mark Back investigated.

March 29, 12:19 a.m. - Auto theft/receiving stolen parts, 4000 block CR1150W. Vehicle reported stolen recovered in Delphi. Suspect identified. Back continues to investigate.

March 29, 3:53 p.m. - Property damage, SR25 at CR150E. Robert S. Ray, 60, Attica and Joyce L. Horton, 20, Logansport. Davidson investigated.

March 29, 4:10 p.m. - US421 at CR400S. Hoby A. Hays, 47, Lafayette and John T. Reiff, 68, Monticello. Hays tested .07 percent BrAC. Hays complained of chest pains prior to chemical testing and was transported to an area hospital after testing. Maj. Tobe Leazenby investigated.

March 30, 2:34 a.m. - Non-criminal information, 7400 block Stoney Dr. Harassment stemming from a custody dispute reported. Back investigated.

March 30, 8:15 a.m. - Possession of marijuana, US421. Kayla Mann, 19, Monticello was arrested for possession of marijuana following a traffic stop. Thomas investigated.

March 30, 12:15 p.m. - Theft, CR640N. Equipment belonging to Norfolk and Southern Railroad was reported missing from a Rockfield grade crossing. Leazenby investigated.

March 30, 1:59 p.m. - Harboring non-imunized dog, 11900 block Freeman Ln. Five-year-old suffered a dog bite in Jefferson Township. Leazenby investigated.

March 30, 4:01 p.m. - Theft, 12100 block Upper Lakeshore Dr. 1978 Yamaha "Chappy" moped stolen from Dorothy Rader. Leazenby investigated.

March 30, 11:31 p.m. - Assisting another agency, 100 block E. Elizabeth St., Flora. Subject reported looking into residential window. Hall investigated.

March 30, 11:37 p.m. - Harassment. 11400 W. Tecumseh Bend Rd. Telephone harassment reported. Back is actively investigating.

March 31, 12:00 a.m. - Criminal mischief, 11400 block W. CR1158N. Criminal mischief reported at Seventh- Day Adventist Church. Thomas investigated.

March 31, 12:49 a.m. - Theft, 11792 W. Horseshoe Bend. Theft of a vehicle title reported by Randy Livingston. Thomas continues to investigate.

March 31, 4:15 p.m. - Criminal mischief, 4700 block S. CR450E. Report of damage to vehicle owned by Timothy Rogers. Thomas continues to investigate.

March 31, 4:57 p.m. - Criminal information, 1300 block S. Jackson St., Burlington. Stolen property found at an apartment by landlord. Hall investigated.

April 1, 9:09 p.m. - Burglary, 120 E. Elizabeth St., Flora. Residential entry. Hall investigated.

April 2, 2:17 a.m. - Possession of marijuana, 200 block E. Main St., Flora. Intimidation report resulting in an arrest for possession of marijuana, public intoxication and intimidation. Hall investigated.

April 2, 8:50 a.m. - Property damage with injury, SR25 at SR218. Richard C. Everett, 19, Delphi and Brian L. Flora, 43, Delphi. Everett complained of pain in the elbow or lower arm. Chapman investigated.

April 2, 11:15 a.m. - Property damage, US421 at CR100N. Richard D. Wilken, 40, Yeoman and Armando Najera, 38, Delphi. Chapman investigated.

Flora Fire Dept.

April 1, 2:01 p.m. - The old Rinehart barn at the west edge of Flora was destroyed. The barn, owned by Roland Hall, was fully involved when firefighters arrived. A German Shepherd tied to the barn was dead when firefighters arrived. A field on the north side of the barn also caught fire. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.

March 26, 10 a.m. - Two tires were reported stolen from a vehicle at Mann Chevrolet. Chief Paul Redmon investigated.

March 27, 12:35 a.m. - Following a traffic stop, Alfonso Torres Jr., 28, Marion, was arrested for driving while suspended with a prior conviction and operating a vehicle while never receiving a license. Sgt. James Bishop investigated. Deputy Zach Hall assisted.

March 27, 5:03 a.m. - Katrina Jo Courtney, 28, Kokomo, was arrested for public intoxication. Sgt. Bishop investigated.

March 28, 7:35 p.m. - Juan Gabriel Trejo Rodriguez,18, Flora, was arrested on a Carroll County warrant for operating a vehicle while never receiving a license. Officer Josh Disinger investigated.

March 29, 2:20 p.m. - A domestic disturbance was reported in the 800 block of Fisher St. Redmon investigated.

March 29, 5:37 p.m. - A harassment report was taken at 415 W. Clem St. Officer Mark Thomas investigated.

March 29, 11 p.m. - Following a traffic stop, Wesley W. Bell, 25, West Lafayette, was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a prior conviction. Disinger investigated.

March 30, 11:31 p.m. - A voyuerism report was taken at 120 E. Elizabeth St. Bishop investigated.

March 31, 9:05 p.m. - Theft of a wagon and cylinders was reported at Jackson-Lee-Pearson. Bishop investigated.

April 1, 4:30 p.m. - A report of residential entry was taken at 120 E. Elizabeth St. Officer Grant Davidson investigated.

April 1, 7:50 p.m. - A 911 call was received of a vehicle weaving on the roadway. Following a traffic stop, Randy E. Francis, 38, Florida, was arrested for operating while intoxicated. Bishop investigated.

April 2, 4 a.m. - Shannon C. Heath, 34, Kokomo, was arrested for intimidation, public intoxication and possession of marijuana. David A. McIntosh, 20, Demotte, was arrested for minor possession of alcohol. Bishop investigated.

April 3, 12:06 a.m. - Following a traffic stop, Lowell S. Sturdivant, 28, was arrested for driving while suspended with a prior conviction. Disinger investigated.
