Camden Community Good Friday Service will be at 7 p.m. at St. Peter's Lutheran Church. Pastor Dan Gottschalk will bring the message. A free-will offering will be taken for Released Time Christian Education. Community Easter Sunrise Service will be at 6:30 a.m. Sunday in the United Methodist Church. Pastor Dale Larson will speak. A free-will offering will be taken for the Released Time Christian Education program. Breakfast will be served at the church following the service. Camden Council of Churches sponsors both of the community Holy Week services. A community Easter Egg Hunt will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Baptist Church. All area children are invited. Kindergarten Round-up at Camden Elementary School will be held Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Students must be five years old by Aug. 1, 2007, to attend. Necessary information to bring includes child's birth certificate, immunization record, and Social Security number. Carroll Chapter No. 475 Order of the Eastern Star will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the Masonic Temple. Officers and pro-tems will be honored. Members are reminded to bring an antique. Camden Town Council will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the town hall. Camden-Jackson Township Public Library board will meet at 7 p.m. April 11 in the Reading Room. United Methodist Women will meet at 7 p.m. April 12 in the home of Mary Trapp. Lesson leader will be Marge Sieber. Hostess will be Mary Trapp. |
