LIFE AROUND ROSSVILLE SCHOOLS (LARS) spring meeting for alumni and friends of Rossville High School will be held on Tuesday, May 15, at 6 p.m. at the Lafayette MCL Cafeteria.

CARROLL COUNTY WABASH & ERIE CANAL annual meeting will be April 17 at 7 p.m. at the Canal Center in Delphi. The public is invited to enjoy a social hour and hear Wally Dolan, a retired history professor, speak about education in a one-room schoolhouse. The passenger boat "Delphi" will be returning to service that day and, weather permitting, will offer rides on the canal late afternoon from the dock in Canal Park.

An EASTER EGG HUNT will be held Saturday% at 10 a.m. at Jubilee Fellowship in Flora, 687 E. 50 N. The hunt is for children ages 10 and younger.

K I N D E R G A R T E N ROUND-UP for Delphi Community elementary school enrollment will be April 4 for Hillcrest and April 5 for Camden, both between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. A choice between half-day and full-day kindergarten will be offered. During regular kindergarten school hours on the day of enrollment, parents and children will have the opportunity to observe the kindergarten program in progress and meet one of the teachers. Parents unable to attend Hillcrest enrollment should call the school office at (765) 564-3895 to make necessary arrangements. For Camden enrollment, call (574) 686-2362.

Purdue Extension will host a HORTICULTURE SERIES MEETING April 11 at 9 a.m. at the 4-H Community Building in Flora. Judy Berkshire will present information about raising herbs and plant propagation. Attendees should bring a sharp knife if they would like to try plant propagation. After the plant program, Paul Marcellino will present a short program about spring lawn care. BIRTHRIGHT OF DELPHI is seeking donations of used household and yard items to sell at a rummage sale. Proceeds will go toward sending volunteers to the organization's annual convention in Toronto, Canada. Those who wish to donate may call Holly at (765) 564-2620 or Emily at 564-4063 to schedule items for pick-up.

The ANNUAL DELPHI EASTER EGG HUNT will be April 7 beginning at 11 a.m. at the Carroll County Courthouse. The event is sponsored by Prevent Child Abuse Carroll County, with the support of local merchants, civic groups and individuals. Many additional activities for children, including a visit with the Easter Bunny, will be offered.
