Flora Ministerial Association announces special services

Flora Ministerial Association announces Good Friday and Easter Sunrise services in Flora.

There will be two Good Friday services on April 6. The first will be from 12:05-12:55 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, with Jeff Tomson, pastor of Living Faith Church of the Brethren, as speaker. The second service will be at 7 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church. It will be a Tenebrae service (scriptural Service of Darkness).

Easter Sunrise Service will begin at 6:30 a.m. on April 8 at the Flora United Methodist Church.

An Easter Cantata will be presented by the Community Choir, under the direction of Joe Spence.

The offering will be used within the Ministerial Association for specified programs that support local missions.
